South Korea announced increasing medical graduate numbers by another 2500 new doctors each year in the face of rising healthcare demands.
However the decision is opposed by Korean Medical association with many doctors threatening strike indefinite strike.
Government is not willing to budge in spite of threats by Korean Medical association and issued a warning to Medical officers on strike that it is illegal to strike for doctors and all of them should return to work
